IWPL Embraces the Sick Children’s Foundation Cause

This year, the Irish Waterjet Profile team took on a heartfelt challenge: 100 skips a day to raise money and awareness for children in need of vital medical treatment.
It’s a small action, but full of meaning—each skip reminding us of the young patients and  families who are facing far tougher challenges every single day.
Charlie Dolan, Managing Director, believes every company should support a cause that brings purpose, hope, and real impact to the community.

The Challenge

When we shared the skipping idea with the team, the reaction was brilliant. Some people  had never picked up a skipping rope in their lives, but they jumped in—literally—for the fun of it and for the good cause behind it.

The skip rope moments became the funniest part of the day in the office. It brought out everyone’s inner child, reminding us of simple joys that some children, sadly, can’t enjoy while they are in the hospital receiving treatment.

The Result

This challenge wasn’t just about skipping—it was about the spirit of solidarity, compassion, hope, awareness, and standing with the children who need it most.
