Connect4 Excavator Game
One of our recent projects was the Giant Connect4 Excavator, built for the 2025 Ice Expo.
The goal was to beloved classic game and turn it into a massive, attention-grabbing attraction that showcases both innovation and teamwork.
Materials & Methods
Instead of small plastic pieces, we produced oversized red and yellow discs using durable plastic.
Our CNC routers cut and shape each disc with high accuracy. This gave every piece smooth edges and a consistent finish.
We also focused on material choice to make sure the discs could handle repeated use while still looking sharp.
To add something extra, the discs were placed using an excavator. This detail tied in naturally with the event’s heavy machinery theme.
Challenges & Solutions
Working at this scale brought a few challenges. Even a slight misalignment could affect how the discs fit into the frame.
We addressed this by refining our routing process and paying close attention to material quality. This kept everything consistent from one piece to the next.
The Result
The Giant Connect4 Excavator drew plenty of attention at the Ice Expo 2025. It attracted crowds, sparked smiles, and added a fun competitive element.
